PADI Open Water Training Dives

Four dives are required for PADI Open Water Certification. Students must register in advance for these dates. We offer certifciation dives at Lake Hydra or on our warm water group trips. We can issue you a referral form for those traveling outside of Atlantis. Any student coming to us for Open Water from outside of Atlantis must provide us with all the PADI student referral paperwork.

Pre-requisites

Minimum age 10, successful completion of elearing course and confined water pool sessions.

Open Water Skill Review Policy

If you are planning to do your check out dives with us on an Atlantis Aquatics exotic group trip and it has been longer than 3 months since your pool sessions, we may require that you take an Open Water Skills Review prior to doing your check out dives.

Student Rental Rate

Students need to rent their equipment from Atlantis Aquatics. Rates will vary. A full Scuba package (minus mask/snorkel/fins/boots) is currenlty $110.00 for the 2 days of diving.

Atlantis Aquatics Cancellation/Postponement Policy

Atlantis Aquatics reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class due to weather, lightning, pool closing, or any other circumstance that may cause the course to be postponed. In the event of a class cancellation by Atlantis Aquatics, the student can reschedule or receive a full refund on the instructional portion of the course.

If a student cancels less then 48 hours from a scheduled class, no refund is offered. If a student wishes to reschedule a course less then 14 days from a scheduled class, a $45.00 change fee is in effect. If a student cancels a class greater then 14 days from a scheduled class, the student may receive a refund for the instructional portion of the course minus a $50.00 non refundable amount. No refunds available for cancellation of class less then 14 days from scheduled class.
