Diving from a boat is fun, especially when you feel at ease when maneuvering around on it. It’s fun to know what you’re doing and what to expect next.

What You Learn

Learn the tips, tricks and ways to:

• Dive from boats ranging from small inflatables to giant live-aboards
• How boats differ from place to place around the world
• Gain experience and training from diving on boats in your local area
• Safely entering and exiting the water
• Sometimes it’s better to hand your gear up to the crew before get back on the boat
• Sometimes you just take off your fins and weights and walk up the ladder
• Stow your gear in the most appropriate areas
• Use surface lines to initiate or conclude your dives
• Locate basic boat safety equipment

Your Next Adventure

You can do many types of diving from a boat. Any certified diver can complete the Boat Diver course with us, which can help you reach the popular Master Scuba Diver rating.

Atlantis Aquatics Cancellation/Postponement Policy

Atlantis Aquatics reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class due to weather, lightning, pool closing, or any other circumstance that may cause the course to be postponed. In the event of a class cancellation by Atlantis Aquatics, the student can reschedule or receive a full refund on the instructional portion of the course.

If a student cancels less then 48 hours from a scheduled class, no refund is offered. If a student wishes to reschedule a course less then 14 days from a scheduled class, a $45.00 change fee is in effect. If a student cancels a class greater then 14 days from a scheduled class, the student may receive a refund for the instructional portion of the course minus a $50.00 non refundable amount. No refunds available for cancellation of class less then 14 days from scheduled class.
